Welcome!
Instead of relating an experience with a client as I usually do, today I am sharing the leap in awareness I made last week.
Wishing
you much love and light,

Have you noticed time speeding up, and an increase in episodes of feeling irritated, annoyed, frustrated and sometimes downright angry?
Have you been feeling exhausted, worn out and like you are being repeatedly dragged through a knothole backwards, or run over by a steamroller, or both? Or was that only happening to me? (Probably not!)
Good! You are right on target. Everything that is not of the light is being forced into the open so we can see it and transcend it.
We have entered the “shift or die” phase of the evolutionary leap humanity is engaged in. We are being called to expand our consciousness and see beyond the illusion of ordinary reality.
A switch flipped in my brain last week. Since then I’ve been having “oh I get it” realizations one on top of the other. I am seeing abundance everywhere. I wake up with a joyous awareness that the day is filled with infinite possibilities. I have a new understanding of what it means to be in the flow and to live in non-attachment.
These concepts of living in the flow and of non-attachment are crucial to living with more Joy and less struggle. And I got two for the price of one this week. Yahoo!
I thought I had a good understanding of what it meant to live in the flow . . . align with the path that resonates with my inner being. Do more of the things that feel expansive and less (to none) of the things that feel contracting. I’d know I was out of the flow when I’d find myself struggling (feeling pressured, feeling like I “have to” do something, forcing myself to keep on when my body, mind and soul were begging me to stop, etc.).
When I’d find myself struggling I’d stop, go to my meditation chair, get quiet and ask for guidance . . . and stay there til I got it! This was a great way to live. Nothing wrong with it at all. It is just that now I see there is more.
The concept of non-attachment has always been more of a challenge than living in the flow. If I wanted something, I wanted it! I’d have to do a lot of reminding myself that everything was for my highest good, including not having what I desperately wanted. Eventually I’d surrender to “what is” and that would dissolve the frustration. Again, this worked pretty well. My life was pretty good. Now I see there is more.
Since the flipped brain switch, I have an expanded perception of these two concepts. Now I see there is no flow to “align with.” There is no searching for the flow. There is no “this is flow and that is not flow.” We are immersed in the flow, like fish in the ocean. We can ride the direction of the flow, or we can struggle against it.
Wow! What a concept! I am immersed in the flow. I am either open to it, or I am resisting it. Allowing life to flow through me puts a new spin on the idea of non-attachment. The flow is constant and with it is constant change. In every moment the elements of earthly life are flowing through me . . . relationships, money, people, circumstances, and “issues”.
From a big picture point-of-view hanging onto things, or demanding that particular things show up in a particular way seems a bit foolish. Do I really want to override Divine Intelligence? Yes! Just kidding.
Think of an ocean wave that doesn’t like the direction the tide is flowing. What a waste of energy for the wave to resist the direction of the flow. It will eventually end up on the shore anyway.
I like imagining my life unfolding moment-by-moment, with infinite possibilities . . . anything can happen. Whatever I’ve been focusing on is on the assembly line moving my way. If I have been focusing on what I don’t want, it is on the assembly line moving my way. If I have been focusing on what I do want, it is on the assembly line moving my way. It may not arrive in the package I have been expecting, but it will arrive.
Do you see it? Can you feel it? Do you sense it? Doesn’t this put a whole new perspective on how we approach each day?
Yes, indeed.
BOTTOM LINE: Divine Intelligence is at work in our lives every moment whether we are aware of it or not. Imagine greeting each day by acknowledging that we live in a sea of infinite possibilities. Anything can happen. As a co-creator of my life, my repetitious thoughts and feelings today are the elements that have tremendous influence on what is on the assembly line flowing toward me. To paraphrase a biblical passage: Rejoice and be glad for this is the day I have influenced for myself. I can learn from it; make the necessary changes to my thoughts and feelings; open to receive the best life has to offer. Bring it on!
TIP: Every earthly thing is temporary: things, relationships, careers, you name it. Whatever I am thinking and feeling now is in the flow coming my way sooner are later, only to stay temporarily and then move on. The “temporary” could be 10 minutes. It could be 50 years.
P.S. If you are not enjoying the journey, you won’t be any happier at the destination. Well, maybe for a little while. But sooner, rather than later, the inborn urge to grow, to create, to evolve, will want to express itself, and a new journey starts.
P.P.S. Take note that journeys tend to be long, while the time spent in the destination is short. Plan accordingly!
